The Nurtury, a Jewish Reggio-inspired preschool, and kindergarten is seeking an experienced PRE-K teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. We are seeking an individual who will foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children. Teaching pre-K (4-5-year-olds) includes planning, implementing thoughtful lesson plans, and assessing students' progress throughout the year. You will teach children with patience, love, and hands-on creativity. Duties include designing a teaching plan and using Reggio-inspired activities and instructional methods to motivate and inspire the children.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum planning and implementation for both Judaic and secular studies for the Pre-K class
Assessment of children’s developmental needs and goal setting
Ongoing collaboration with teaching teams, administration, and families
Manage classroom routines and behaviors
Communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

45-hour early childhood certification
College degree in early childhood education or related field
3+ years of experience as a Lead Teacher in the preschool/kindergarten setting
Innovative and creative educator
Strong knowledge of Jewish holidays, customs and Hebrew language
